Arrowhead Chapter member featured on Pipedreams
David Tryggestad, long-time member of the Arrowhead Chapter, will appear on the June 24, 2024 installment of the popular radio program Pipedreams. Dr. Tryggestad performed a recital for the 2017 convention of the Organ Historical Society. He is playing John Knowles Paine's Prelude in b, Op. 19, No. 2 on the Lyon and Healy organ at St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church in Duluth, Minnesota. You may link to the Pipedreams recording below. "Organs in Revue has been providing organ recitals every summer for 40 years. Our purpose is twofold: to showcase organs and performers on the Iron Range of Minnesota, and to fund scholarships for organ students."
